The contest offered the opportunity to create a video introduction for one of the ten categories being presented at the 12th Annual Webby Awards Ceremony on June 10 in New York City. Rydesky won in the Connections Category and was also selected as the grand prize winner among the ten finalists.

Rydesky's submission focused on the duel meaning for the term "connections". In his twenty-second video, literal and personal connections created through the Internet were showcased in each scene. "This contest seemed like a great opportunity to showcase my abilities in the medium of motion graphics," said Rydesky. "I had a strong desire to win this contest, which helped me to create the quality of work that I have."

Webby-In-Motion is a collaborative contest presented by Adobe and The Webby Awards. The contest inspires creative and talented designers to produce new and engaging interactive experiences.

"Full Sail's Digital Arts & Design program teaches students to merge technical and aesthetic elements and create something new and exciting," said Bill Galbreath, Program Director for Digital Arts & Design and Graphic Design, Full Sail University.
