Amazon.com pairs "Artificial Imagination", a book by Kalpanik S. with "Eat, Pray, Love", a book by Elizabeth Gilbert under its BXGY program. Under the program, "Artificial Imagination" is being featured in the Best Value section of the detail page for "Eat, Pray, Love" for the month of June, and shoppers receive added value for purchasing both items simultaneously.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 4, 2008 -- The Center of Artificial Imagination announced that Amazon.com has agreed to pair "Artificial Imagination", a book by Kalpanik S. with "Eat, Pray, Love", a book by Elizabeth Gilbert under its BXGY program as part of its Small Vendor Co-Op merchandising initiative.

Under the program, "Artificial Imagination" is being featured in the Best Value section of the detail page for "Eat, Pray, Love" for the month of June, and shoppers receive added value for purchasing both items simultaneously.

"We are glad that Amazon.com approved our nomination for pairing," said Sonia Talreja, Director of Marketing for the COAI. "Artificial Imagination which has been at #1 spot at Amazon.com in two different categories describes the journey of an immigrant technologist through Washington, California and Tennessee in a humorous way. It is a perfect complement to 'Eat, Pray, Love -- One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia' which is an insightful and funny account of overseas travels embarked by a female journalist."

"The books mirror each other, 'Eat Love Pray' is about a woman's quest for happiness abroad, whereas Artificial Imagination is about foreign born man's search for happiness and fulfillment within US," said Kalpanik S, author of Artificial Imagination. "It is an interesting coincidence that booth books cover three places. Elizabeth traveled to Italy, India and Indonesia, whereas I moved through California, Washington and Tennessee for similar objectives in mind."

The books can be purchased together at Amazon.com, where shoppers receive an additional 5% discount on "Artificial Imagination" if they purchase it will "Eat, Pray, Love".

"The word artificial originally meant artful and crafty," said Richard Lederer, author of Anguished English. "That's an apt description of Artificial Imagination, which blends art, craft, and wit into a narrative that teaches us life lessons that we did not knew we knew."

"Very entertaining! The humor in Artificial Imagination is very addictive and the book flows so well that it's hard to put down," said Jim Pinto author, speaker and technology futurist. "The pictures lure you to continue reading. The book is about a modern nomad who doesn't mind trading one job for another thousands of miles away, someone who is willing to take risks, enjoys people and appreciates life as it comes."
