Chicago native, Brian Hayden saw a thirst for education among geothermal heat pump system designers and installers and he's quenching it with his start-up, HeatSpring Energy. This July, there will be a conference featuring leading geothermal heat pump experts in Oak Brook, IL on how to build and install these systems.

Oak Brook, IL (PRWEB) July 2, 2008 -- Chicago native, Brian Hayden saw a thirst for education among geothermal heat pump system designers and installers and he's quenching it with his start-up, HeatSpring Energy.

Brian Hayden and business partner Duncan Miller saw an opportunity to join the clean energy sector by providing education to a population of developers, architects, HVAC professionals and drilling contractors. For the last year and a half, they have run their educational seminars in the Northeast. Their success has now led them to Hayden's home state of Illinois. "Having training seminars in Chicago has been on my mind since I started the business. Our demand increases when home owners and businesses are environmentally aware and we expect that to be the case given how 'green' the city is."

Home and business owners that install geothermal heat pump systems see real economic benefits in these systems
The HeatSpring duo set off to find the most sought after experts in the field of geothermal heat pumps and engaged them to develop content for their customers. These training seminars are a la cart by topic each day and taught by individuals who are recognized leaders in their industry. One instructor comments on the benefits of what HeatSpring is doing for the geothermal heat pump industry: "It can be like learning a new language when architects, engineers and drillers get together to work on a geothermal project and the classroom is far less painful than field 'scar tissue'" says HeatSpring instructor John Manning, founder and President of Earth Sensitive Solutions.

"Each terrain has its own set of requirements in terms of design and installation of the system," Hayden explains, "that's why when we come to Illinois, we're having Kirk Mescher, P.E. coming to speak as well." Mescher is a Principle at the company CM Engineering. He's engineered the high-efficiency geothermal heating and cooling system in the new building at the Palestine elementary and junior high school building in Illinois. "You can't beat hearing from someone who's been in the trenches on a job" Hayden confirms.

"Home and business owners that install geothermal heat pump systems see real economic benefits in these systems" Duncan Miller, Co-Founder of HeatSpring says. "But in order to reap these benefits, you need building professionals who know how to install and design them properly."
