(PRWEB) July 5, 2008 -- A North Carolina native and former Project Runway contestant, Carmen Webber will give a seminar and host Charlotte North Carolina Fashion Week ™ (CNCFW). Named top fashion designer of her class at Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), Webber has an extensive knowledge of the fashion industry. Many of her accolades include line building for Fortune Footwear, working with Urban Outfitters, Steven, a division of Steve Madden along with appearing as a guest stylist on the Look for Less Show and new VH1 Can't "Get a Date" series.
Webber is also known for her and business partner Carmia Marshall, 2001 launch of the "Sistahs of Harlem" clothing line. Webber and partner Marshall also co-wrote "T-Shirt Makeovers: 20 Transformations For Fabulous Fashion," a do-it-yourself book.
Webber will host both Friday and Saturday CNCFW evening events and have book signing during the Saturday CNCFW trunk show from 12:00pm-3:00pm.
Be a Part of Fashion History
Drawing from some of the most talented new and established designers in the region, CNCFW is positioned to be a significant force in the southeast by bringing undiscovered talent to the forefront. The time to get on board is now as CNCFW is currently offering a limited number of partnership opportunities for companies that want to reach a market of fashion and beauty experts, style enthusiasts and fashion forward consumers. Partners have the first option to renew from 2008 and beyond for this annual event.
