Delaware Park continues its long-time support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Delaware Chapter with a $25,000 contribution. Delaware Park has contributed more than $300,000 to the organization in the last decade.
Wilmington, Del. (PRWEB) July 11, 2008 -- Delaware Park recently contributed $25,000 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Delaware Chapter, bringing its total support for the organization to more than $300,000 since 1999.
"We strongly believe in the work of the MS Society and are pleased that we can support their fight to free the world of this crippling disease," said William M. Rickman, Jr., president of Delaware Park.
In addition to its contribution, Delaware Park's White Clay Creek Country Club recently hosted the MS Delaware Golf Tournament. The June 6 tournament raised more than $100,000 for the organization.
MS Delaware President Kate Cowperthwait said Delaware Park's continuous support over the years has made a tremendous difference for the society.
"They are very active and loyal supporters," Cowperthwait said. "More than a decade ago, Delaware Park committed their support to the MS Society and they have continued to be at the forefront of corporate giving.
