A new e-commerce company called DefySupply.com has launched with rave reviews and merchandise orders from customers seeking to take advantage of the company's promise to deliver thousands of high quality goods at unprecedented low prices, straight from factories around the globe.
I was skeptical at first because the prices were so low. Usually when things seem too good to be true, they usually are. However, I've bought virtually everything for my new home from DefySupply, and I really couldn't be happier.

Minneapolis MN (PRWEB) July 9, 2008 -- Business customers and consumers alike have been hit hard by the soaring cost of goods and services as a result of our nation's recession. With virtually thousands of industries raising prices, it seems there is no end to this all too familiar situation. In response to a need for relief among purchasers from coast to coast, a new e-commerce company has opened its virtual doors with a promise to deliver thousands of high quality goods at unheard of rock-bottom prices, straight from factories around the globe. The Minneapolis-based company calls itself DefySupply, which it further defines in its descriptive tag line WHERE THE WORLD'S TOP SUPPLIERS COMPETE.

DefySupply's mission is to bridge the gap between the world's producers and consumers so nobody will ever have to overpay again. What makes this so unique? The first chapter in most economics text books teaches that sellers should price their products based on the maximum amount customers are willing to pay. DefySupply does not do this. They simply sell their products for what they actually cost to produce and ship…and that's it. Acting as both a wholesaler and retailer, they are able to deliver unheard of prices on a wide assortment of furniture to any customer in any quantity. As an example, DefySupply sells its queen-sized deluxe mattress for $295, which consumers have been trained to believe is a great deal at $500. Another example is DefySupply's acrylic bar stools which they sell for $51, and can't be found anywhere else for less than $95.

Though the company is still new, customers have been flocking to DefySupply.com to order merchandise. According to one customer, Aaron Goldstein, "I was skeptical at first because the prices were so low. Usually when things seem too good to be true, they usually are. However, I've bought virtually everything for my new home from DefySupply, and I really couldn't be happier."

According to Brent Gensler, the twenty-three-year-old entrepreneur, founder, and President of DefySupply, "I created this company specifically for the consumer. I am constantly being advised to increase our prices because they are too low, which ultimately brings skepticism about our product quality. As far as I'm concerned, prices can never be too low. Instead, I urge everyone to start thinking why we've all been overpaying for so long. The last thing I will ever do is raise prices to defer this skepticism. Instead, we provide a one-year quality guarantee on all products."

Gensler continues, "The merchandise we sell comes from the exact same factories producing the exact same goods we've been using our whole lives. The only difference is that now they reach consumers directly from the manufacturer. DefySupply is simply the bridge that allows this to happen. This is truly an exciting time in the world of consumerism."

So how does DefySupply make money? Like a number of other successful Web-based ventures, and a handful of retail warehouse clubs, it offers a low membership fee to its customers. With two pricing options to choose from, DefySupply offers a monthly membership for $4.99 or an annual membership for $38.99, both of which provide members with lowest possible prices and flexible payment options. DefySupply also offers non-member pricing on all products at a slight premium over member pricing.
