Frederick County Public Schools Upgrades Online Communication

Frederick County Public Schools, based in Frederick, Maryland and serving a student population of 40,000, recently upgraded its Find Out First community notification service. The district's award winning service now operates on the powerful EZCommunicator system from Relatrix Corporation.

(PRWEB) July 17, 2008 -- EZCommunicator is an Online Contact Center system that improves parent and community awareness and engagement through targeted communications from both the district offices and individual schools. It integrates multiple eCommunications tools and supports multiple channels including web, email, voice and SMS. EZCommunicator helps notify parents and community members, respond to their questions and concerns and engage them in the district's planning process through online feedback.

Communication Services Director for Frederick County Public Schools, Marita Loose, expressed "There is a fundamental need for our district to be proactive in utilizing the Internet to communicate with our parents and community members. We have received recognition and awards in the past for our Find Out First system, and realized it was time to expand our capabilities and options in online communications." Loose further explained, "Relatrix has worked with our staff to transition to EZCommunicator so we can continue to meet our growing communication needs within our budget."

The initial implementation of the EZCommunicator system will be at the Frederick Central Office and thirteen of its schools. The system will be live and staff trained before Frederick County students return to school on August 25th.
