Frederick County Public Schools, based in Frederick, Maryland and serving a student population of 40,000, recently upgraded its Find Out First community notification service. The district's award winning service now operates on the powerful EZCommunicator system from Relatrix Corporation.

It integrates multiple eCommunications tools and supports multiple channels including web, email, voice and SMS. Communication Services Director for Frederick County Public Schools, Marita Loose, expressed "There is a fundamental need for our district to be proactive in utilizing the Internet to communicate with our parents and community members. The initial implementation of the EZCommunicator system will be at the Frederick Central Office and thirteen of its schools. The system will be live and staff trained before Frederick County students return to school on August 25th.
