The announcement last week concerning the acquisition of SiCap Industries by Dynova Laboratories is the culmination of Perry's original dream for Sinus Buster's future success. He believes the new ownership will allow SiCap Industries to take the final steps toward bringing Sinus Buster into the top spot of the OTC nasal spray category.
"We've been approached by so many companies and they all seemed to be motivated by money only, and not the efficacy of our products. The whole concept of Sinus Buster is that it works. We care more about our customers than we do the bottom line, and that's why our bottom line is profitable. Dynova gets it, and they have the expertise and money to back it. Dynova plans to upgrade all aspects of SiCap's business including packaging, manufacturing, distribution and advertising with financial backing from Aisling Capital, a life sciences investment firm with a successful track record in both the prescription and OTC product marketplace.
According to Dynova reps, the company plans on unveiling a national roll-out of several Sinus Buster products in the spring of 2009. The new program will include national television, radio and internet marketing along with a steady stream of public relations efforts. Dynova also plans to take advantage of the growing nasal rinsing market with SiCap's Sinus Genie nasal rinse products.
