The Smart Car of America Forum is a community that shares information and advice about the Smart Fortwo and provides a venue where members can help shape the development of all intelligent cars.

Belleair, Florida (PRWEB) August 25, 2008 -- Smart Car of America (SCOA) announced their community forum reached a milestone in the number of registered members.

Smart Car of America's social forum community was started a little over a year ago. Within its first 12 months, the Smart Car of America Forum membership has grown to more than 17,300 smart members, rivaling some of the largest and longest-established automotive forums in rate of growth.

Smart Car of America has become a popular destination for people interested in the Smart Fortwo and other clever alternative vehicles and as of August 24th, the SCOA Forum contained 12,008 threads, 125,156 posts and has had as many as 1,392 members online at one time. Their SCOA forum gallery contains thousands of unique Smart car photographs.

S. L. Johnston, owner of Smart Car of America, attributes the Web site's success to its members, editors and managers. "Their dedication to helping one another makes the site a positive experience," she says. "The SCOA Forum promotes a dynamic dialogue within the community, allowing users to share with their fellow smart car fans the information and tools they need."

The popularity of the site has grown dramatically and the Web site has undergone continued development to ensure the best online experience. Over 10,000 unique visitors utilize the SCOA site daily and countless readers post articles about their Smart car on the forum.

Mrs. Johnston adds, "It is a diverse community, and we appreciate our members being an integral part of SCOA, the forum and our future."

Alexa, a Web information company that tracks Internet data and trends, reports that SCOA has steadily outranked its nearest competitors in reach, rank, and page views over the past six months.

The popularity of SCOA has also attracted the attention of the marketing industry and of organizations that wish to promote their products and services to a large consumer base.

SCOA's forum director Ryan Porter is busy answering scores of member messages each day. "We created the SCOA Forum hoping that it would evolve into a strong-knit community that consisted of both our many readers and others interested in greener and fuel saving cars," he said.

The SCOA Forum comprises a community that shares information and advice and also provides a venue where members can help shape the development of all intelligent cars.
