Homepath Products LLC Introduces eXapathTM, Helping Homes Keep Up with Technology Advancements in Consumer Electronics

Homepath Products, LLC introduces eXapathTM , a patent-pending revolutionary low voltage cabling pathway solution for new home construction and renovations. eXapath helps homes and homeowners keep up with the cabling technology advancements in consumer electronics.

Essex, CT (PRWEB) January 5, 2009 -- Homepath Products, LLC announced today the availability of eXapath, its low voltage cabling solution for residential construction. Homepath's eXapath cabling solution helps homeowners easily manage the placement of electronic devices that are connected to high-speed, low-voltage cabling. The system also simplifies moves, adds and changes for residential cabling as higher data rates become available.

The eXapath solution is a system of pre-installed, in-wall, non-metallic conduits that literally make low voltage cable installation a snap for builders, electricians and homeowners. Featuring interlocking components, the eXapath conduit system is designed to support the latest advances in home theater cables, data networking, home automation, security, broadband home cabling and a variety of other applications. In addition, it prepares newly-constructed or renovated homes to take full advantage of the latest telecommunications service provider offerings, such as fiber to the home (FTTH) and fiber to the node (FTTN).

We've solved a significant problem for homeowners, architects, builders and electricians
Unlike line voltage cabling, low voltage cabling is subject to obsolesce over time. Upgrading home cabling can be disruptive, destructive and expensive. Pre-installed low voltage cable conduit, such as eXapath, provides a cost effective, simple means to allow unlimited structured cabling upgrades throughout the life of the broadband-enabled home.

"We've solved a significant problem for homeowners, architects, builders and electricians", said Homepath Products LLC Co-Founder Michael Hammond. "Pre-installed pathways take out the uncertainty risk for homeowners. Homeowners frequently have a tough time imagining where they'll put their TV, computers and other electronic devices in their new home. Yet they're asked to do this before the walls are even up. So they guess, or they install cabling everywhere, but even this is no guarantee. We know of people who have spent tens of thousands of dollars - if not hundreds of thousands - building out an addition or a new home who later have had to rip out walls when they wanted to change the cabling to upgrade their home entertainment systems."

The eXapath conduits are available in "contractor packs", which contain materials for the installation of five units. The eXapath conduit system can be easily installed during the electrical/mechanical rough-in of a new home construction or renovation project, requiring commonly carried tools. The eXapath conduits contained in these contractor packs are "precut" for 8 and 9 foot ceiling heights to reduce installation time and minimize waste stream.

Homepath Products LLC, a privately-held business based in Essex, Connecticut, designs and markets the eXapath nonmetallic conduit system, an elegant solution made in the USA to enable upgrading residential low voltage cabling. eXapath conduits are practical today . . . prepared for tomorrow™. The company's web site features product information, white papers, industry trends and additional information about the future of low voltage home cabling.
