New York City's posh Metropolitan Dog Club kicks off the new year with unique lecture about buying dog art at auction. Alan Fausel, Vice President and Director of Fine Art at Bonhams will discuss auction basics and how to become a savvy art buyer.

This time, on January 14th, the Metro hosts a lecture called "A Guide to Buying Dog Art at Auction" featuring Alan Fausel, Vice President and Director of Fine Art Bonhams, the venue where the event takes place.

The Metropolitan Dog Club (www.metropolitandogclub.com) was founded by Charlotte Reed, Jane St. Lifer, Dr. Joel Gavriele-Gold, Fran Prince and Patrcia Enright in the summer of July 2007. As pure-bred dog enthusiasts, this group wanted to create a social club that addressed the current needs of all dog owners but also provided a benefit to the community in which they lived. The purpose of the Metropolitan Dog Club is to provide a social, educational and community service platform for pure bred dog enthusiasts.
