Program Targeting Professionals Who Want to Teach
St. Louis, MO (Vocus) July 31, 2008-- The American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) is hosting teacher recruitment events for professionals who want to change careers and teach in Missouri. The events will be held in St. Louis, Springfield and Kansas City.
"There are already more than 260 professionals in Missouri who are currently enrolled in ABCTE's certification program. Because the program is designed for busy professionals, it is affordable and flexible. We hope to see many more professionals who want to transition into teaching at the recruitment events," said David W. Saba, president of ABCTE.
