BlueTraks debuts BT-211 at SEMA Show 2007.

Santa Cruz, California (PRWEB) October 10, 2007 -- Consumer popularity to expand factory audio systems in their cars and trucks is at an all time high. According to Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®), growth is at an impressive 13% versus 7% from the previous year. Bluetooth® hands-free mobile support, iPod® playback, and GPS navigation are popular additions to vehicles but incompatibilities between factory systems and those aftermarket products have both consumers and installers concerned with integration. BlueTraks, Inc. has the answer with its BT-211 all-in-one system with embedded Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity, iPod® playback, and GPS navigation. The BlueTraks BT-211 is a new product that will be demonstrated at the BlueTraks booth (LVCC Booth #10460) at the Las Vegas 2007 SEMA Show. This product is making its way with great fanfare because consumers are demanding installers find alternative ways to install new features without compromising their factory audio system functions. Installers prefer factory expansion that can interface with the vehicle’s audio system for easy integration.

“Most consumers purchase their vehicles with factory audio systems that have great functions like steering wheel audio system control buttons. These are functions that the vehicle owner enjoys and is accustomed to using. It’s logical to upgrade the system with a way to interface with Bluetooth®, iPod®, and navigation. However, the last thing the owner wants to hear is that he’ll lose the factory functions if the factory system is upgraded,” says Alex Nagy, CEO of BlueTraks, Inc.

Both of the BlueTraks BT-211 models (BT-211P and BT-211N) interface directly into the vehicle's audio system so factory expansion for most late model cars is easy and seamless. Custom installers will appreciate the multiple installation options for the BT-211 because of its low profile form factor and factory look styling. The BT-211 has a backlit high-resolution TFT touch screen. Model BT-211N features the high performance SiRF Star III chipset. This latest technology in GPS signal performance chipset ensures strong reception in dense urban environments, like San Francisco or New York City. And with many states across the country with hands-free ordinances that prohibit the use of mobile phone handsets while operating a vehicle, the Bluetooth® feature of the BT-211 allows the driver to enjoy hands-free mobile phone use. The iPod® player interface features compatibility with most iPods and will have compatibility with the iPhone®.

BlueTraks will be accepting orders for both models of the BT-211 at the SEMA Show. MSRP for the BT-211N is $1299. BlueTraks is accepting proposals from distributors in the United States to support the tremendous popularity and interest from installers across the country. Dealers are encouraged to apply through the BlueTraks web site (www.bluetraks.com) to become a BlueTraks dealer.
