Expansive 5,760 Network Fiber Mile Build Creates a New Alternative Provider for Reliable Bandwidth in Washoe County.

Carson City, NV (PRWEB) October 7, 2008 -- In response to recent customer demand, American Fiber Systems (AFS ) today announces the addition of 5,760 fiber miles of new network in Carson City, Nevada, marking the official opening of the 10th AFS location. By expanding their Reno footprint, AFS, the metro fiber connectivity leader intends to support the growing needs of enterprises and government entities in Carson City and meet the increasing demand for connectivity and bandwidth to and from the city. The development is tied to recent custom network architecture purchased by a large Nevada state government entity.
