The Inspiration Network today announced that award-winning Christian music artist Greg Long will host the seventh season of its popular series Christian Artist Talent Search (C.A.T.S.).
Indian Land, SC (Vocus/PRWeb) March 27, 2008 -- The Inspiration Network today announced that award-winning Christian music artist Greg Long will host the seventh season of its popular series Christian Artist Talent Search (C.A.T.S.). The longest-running Christian talent search series on television, C.A.T.S. brings together 32 finalists from across the country to perform on national television with the opportunity to land a national recording contract. The winner of the seventh season will record with the Grammy®-nominated and Dove Award-winning Lamon Records and Dave Moody Productions.
Ron Shuping, Executive Vice President of Programming for The Inspiration Networks, says that Long is a great addition to the show’s seventh season.

A chart-topping recording artist, Long has earned eight number-one singles, six top-10 hits, an ASCAP award, and two Dove Award nominations during his recording career. His number one singles include “Jesus Saves” (2004); “We Love You Jesus” (2001); “Mercy Said No” (1998); and “How Long” (1995). He also has toured with Point of Grace, Jaci Velasquez, 4Him, Kathy Troccoli, Newsong, Audio Adrenaline, and Ray Boltz.
Long recently released the album Born Again, and officially joined the platinum-selling and Dove and American Music Award-winning group, Avalon.
The seventh season of C.A.T.S. will debut in January 2009 on INSP. Season six of C.A.T.S. airs Saturdays at 10:00PM EST on INSP. The show also airs on i-Lifetv – Inspirational Life Television.
