Month-long program to promote premiere from Faith & Values Media

New York (PRWEB) May 18, 2007 -- In a deal expected to add fuel to growing interest among marketers advertising in the blogosphere, the podcast DivorcingDaze has signed renowned director Michael Apted’s documentary "Married in America 2," premiering on the Hallmark Channel on May 23, as a sponsor.

In 2001, Apted interviewed nine American couples as they prepared to marry. Five years later, for the much-anticipated sequel, he checked in with the same couples. Not all, Apted discovered while filming "Married in America 2," had managed to stay together, but most were still in the running.

The ad program with DivorcingDaze calls for banner ads on the official site, embedded video, text links, photo galleries and e-mail blasts to its listeners.

Embedded audio ads and a topic-dedicated podcast round out the package. Separately, Apted will be interviewed on the show prior to the premiere on May 23.

DivorcingDaze’s hosts are two New York divorced women who share their adventures in divorce, survival, dating, and single parenting with a funny, sexy, uncensored delivery. The show has been heard in more than 35 countries and is the top divorce podcast on Apple’s iTunes.

Apted is best known for his work on the famous 7 Up documentary series, which profiles the same British subjects at seven-year intervals, spanning more than 40 years. Apted is also a prolific feature film director whose credits include "Coal Miner’s Daughter," "Amazing Grace," "Nell," and the James Bond thriller, "The World Is Not Enough."

"Married in America 2" was produced for Faith & Values Media by Married in America, Inc., in association with Lightworks Producing Group. Edward J. Murray, William Spencer Reilly and Jeffrey C. Weber are executive producers. Steven Lawrence and Dale Riehl are producers. http://www.marriedinamerica.com
