Every company wants to both improve its current processes and grow its innovative capability. But becoming more innovative is never as easy as it seems. Companies interested in learning a structured approach to driving innovation will benefit from BMG's new Innovation Tools Training Course that uses the rigor and structure of Lean Six Sigma, to develop a structured process for driving innovation. Classes are open to individuals and start March 3, 2008 in Denver.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 5, 2007 -- Almost every corporation on the planet is on a quest to outperform its rivals in two key business activities - improve the performance of current business, and create the future for the business. Unfortunately, few organizations do this well - they are either good at continuous improvement or good at innovation, but are rarely good at both in a strategic, tactical and deliberate way.

Lean Six Sigma Training Company and Performance Excellence consultancy Breakthrough Management Group (BMG) has watched its clients struggle with this issue and, as a result, is launching an innovation training course to help companies reach beyond the "better" bucket. With the help of innovation expert and Chief Innovation Officer Philip Samuel, BMG is bringing the rigor and structure provided by Lean Six Sigma, to the innovation space.

Research has shown that developing a process for driving and sustaining innovation is one of the toughest challenges senior executives face today
"Research has shown that developing a process for driving and sustaining innovation is one of the toughest challenges senior executives face today," said Samuel. "By bringing the process-driven and data-driven approaches afforded by Six Sigma to the world of Innovation, we are now able to help companies overcome their challenges around developing strong, measurable innovation programs."

This month BMG is launching its 2008 schedule of a five-day Innovation Tools training course for individuals. Built for Lean Six Sigma practitioners and others interested in leading innovation teams, Innovation Tools teaches a solid, repeatable and predictable process for innovating new products, processes and business models.

In Innovation Tools, participants learn a roadmap for birthing new ideas, selecting the best ones, implementing them and demonstrate their success with prototyping and piloting. Participants learn a variety of structured problem-solving tools for every step of the innovation process and get a complete education on the types of innovation and how to build a well-balanced innovation portfolio for a company.

BMG has scheduled three dates for this class in 2008: March 3, July 28, and Oct 13, each in its Denver training center location. For more information on this course, visit BMG's Innovation Tools Training Course Web Page or call BMG at 303-827-0010.
