Addition of New Patent Attorney Strengthens Core Competence of Law Firm Specializing in Intellectual Property

Maine & Asmus, a law firm specializing in intellectual property, announces the addition of patent attorney David Rardin, bringing expertise in software and electronics.

Nashua, NH (PRWEB) May 31, 2007 -- The law firm of Maine & Asmus, specialists in intellectual property, is pleased to announce the addition of David Rardin, who will be joining the firm as a patent attorney. Rardin, a registered patent agent since 2002, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He has just completed his law degree at Pierce Law, Concord, NH and will be taking the bar exam in July.

Rardin was formerly employed as a senior scientist with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) working on RF emissions testing of computers, microprocessor nuclear hardness testing, and knowledge-based development for the Army AI Lab with MIT. He also worked on telecommunications automation software for the FAA. Previous to that, he worked as a physicist in the U.S. Air Force at Wright Patterson AFB as test director for a Joint Service F-15 infrared sensor with contractors AT&T and McDonald-Douglas. He has also worked on the design and fabrication of a cryostat for superconductivity/superfluidity experiments for ETH in Zürich, Switzerland. Rardin is expected to specialize in intellectual property law as it applies to software, electrical, and mechanical arts.

According to the firms managing member, Vernon Maine, Davids extensive technical background, project management skills and legal training will be a sound addition to the firm.” Rardin currently resides on Plum Island with his wife and two Newfoundland dogs.
