The CIO 100 award recipients serve as industry role models for business and IT excellence. This year's winners demonstrate extraordinary results in a variety of important areas, including business transformation, collaboration, customer innovation and top line contributions.
According to Abbie Lundberg, Editor in Chief, CIO magazine, "The CIO 100 award recipients serve as industry role models for business and IT excellence. This year's winners demonstrate extraordinary results in a variety of important areas, including business transformation, collaboration, customer innovation and top line contributions."

"We are honored to be recognized by CIO magazine for the work we have done on behalf of our customers to increase collaboration and other efficiencies, and transform organizations through the use of technology," said Bill Brewster, vice president, marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. "As a result of our partnership with AirClic, Konica Minolta has streamlined its customer support process in the field, which has led to more cost-effective inventory management, as well as increased the breadth, accuracy, and frequency of captured data. This implementation and other corporate initiatives have helped Konica Minolta set new industry benchmarks in the customer experience.

In calendar year 2006, Konica Minolta recorded more than 30 percent year-over-year growth in the color marketplace, and as such Konica Minolta's brand value has steadily increased both in the United States and worldwide. Konica Minolta continues to maintain its leadership position within the market based on having the most popular and diverse lineup of products with digital connectivity tailored to the industry, and the No. 1 U.S. market share position in Konica Minolta's key color laser MFP segments (Color 21+ ppm)*.

Due to exceptional price performance and a wide range of products within the next-generation bizhubTM multifunctional product line, Konica Minolta is leading the end-user transition to color products in offices of all sizes.

The 2007 CIO 100 awards will be presented at the La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, on August 21 at the conclusion of the ninth annual CIO 100 Symposium® and Awards Ceremony.

About the CIO 100
The recipients of this year's CIO 100 award were selected through a three-step process. First, companies filled out an online application form detailing their innovative practices in both business and IT. Next, teams of CIO magazine editors and writers reviewed the applications in depth, looking for unique practices and substantial results. Finally, the teams met for a day-long meeting to debate the merits of each nominee and vote on the final 100. Once the top 100 honorees were selected, several honorees were chosen to receive an additional special award.

Complete coverage of the 2007 CIO 100 awards will be in the August 15 issue of CIO magazine and available online at www.cio.com on August 15.
