Wayne Kramer is one of several music industry veterans who have recently announced exclusive partnerships with Wolfgang's Vault for their music distribution.

Wayne Kramer recently wrote from the 2008 DNC: "Almost everyone in the press knows that I founded the MC5 and a lot of them know that we were the only band to play at the DNC in Chicago in '68. And that I am here today playing as Rage Against The Machine's special guest. DNC 2008, in Denver does bring up some interesting comparisons. The main difference, it seems to me, is that street demonstrations were actually a viable tactic in the 1960s in the anti-Vietnam and civil rights marches, but I honestly don't think they're so effective today. They serve a different purpose now." Kramer goes on to explain a tense anti-war 4-mile march in Denver on a hot summer day with the Denver police clearly on edge. The marchers made their statement successfully and peacefully, but whole-spiritedly.

Wayne Kramer's account of the DNC 2008, is a fitting overview of where he has come as an artist in the 40 years since the Chicago DNC where he first found fame, and it is the overview of where we have come as a nation in that time. "There are so many cameras everywhere. It's funny to think that the only footage we can find from the MC5's '68 performance is courtesy of the United States Department of Defense." Ah, but here for you, Wolfgang's Vault fans… is MC5 from 1968 - Kicking Out the Jams, and an audio chronicle of the 40 years in between."
