Leica Geosystems’ fieldPro Version 1.4 is now compatible with AutoCAD® 2008, Windows XP or Vista. This new version also supports the Leica SmartAntenna ATX1230 and the Leica Builder Total Station.
Norcross, GA (PRWEB) July 10, 2007 -- The newly launched Leica Geosystems’ fieldPro Version 1.4, an on-demand mobile CAD and surveying software for the architecture, engineering and construction industry, expands and enhances critical connections between survey tools and the latest 2D and 3D CAD solutions driving speedier, more accurate field-based data gathering.
With this latest release, fieldPro Version 1.4 is now compatible with AutoCAD® 2008, Windows XP or Vista. This new version also supports the Leica SmartAntenna ATX1230 and the Leica Builder Total Station thus completing the full range of Leica Geosystems total station support and Leica Geosystems GPS Sensors.

While in the field, a user can select a CAD object on the screen, such as a pipe or wall, and the motorized total station will point to it on site. Or with a robotic total station or RTK GPS sensor, a user simply navigates to the selected position on site via the CAD graphic screen.
