Features Intuitive Graphics, Visual Payoff Slope & Detailed Amortization Schedule
Rates are still volatile, despite recent actions by regulators, and consumers need to act quickly to cut their best deal

Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) April 11, 2008 -- As consumers nationwide search for lower-interest mortgages and loans, a new free online tool with a mortgage and loan calculator was unveiled today at MLCalc.com. The launch was announced by Arsidian CEO Arseniy Olevskiy.

“Rates are still volatile, despite recent actions by regulators, and consumers need to act quickly to cut their best deal,” Olevskiy said. “Our new mortgage and loan calculator lets you see almost instantly whether a new mortgage or loan is the right deal for you.”

The two-in-one site offers both calculators with the convenience of one online location. Users simply enter the amounts and terms of a mortgage or loan and get immediate payoff data in a colorful display. The display unfolds with an animated graphic that shows the proportions of a payment that apply to principal, interest, taxes and insurance. Each element is color-coded, enabling a user to instantaneously comprehend the payment breakdown. A payoff curve slopes across the display to show the remaining balance for each year in the life of the loan.

As a key feature of both calculators, amortization schedules may be displayed by either monthly or yearly increments, allowing consumers to see at what point principal prepayment may help save significant interest charges.

“Consumers can use these calculators to help them make many critical decisions about their mortgages or loans,” Olevskiy said. “They can show how much a refinance will reduce monthly payments or even arrive at a desired payment by adjusting various loan terms.”

The front page at MLCalc.com includes a handy reference that clearly defines key mortgage and loan terms that many consumers may find confusing. It also provides straightforward directions for using the calculators.
