"Third party research shows that almost 50% of all server downtime is caused by configuration issues." said Larry Warnock, Phurnace CEO. A system administrator simply points the agent-less tool across the network at target servers and "snapshots" the full configuration and settings, including all of the application bindings. These snapshots are then compared, at the attribute and element level, to identify differences or anomalies from the correct "baseline". Once identified, the user would make the needed changes following their current process or they could upgrade to Phurnace Deliver for automated network-wide changes.
