Rowell Auctions will auction 313.76 acres of Georgia land and farm acreage on Saturday, October 20th at 10 a.m.
This land is selling under a court order.

Greensboro, Ga. (PRWEB) October 2, 2007 -- Rowell Auctions, Inc., a licensed real estate broker and land auctioneer company, has been commissioned to offer at public auction 313.76 acres of farmland and acreage in Greene County, Ga. The property is located Cold Springs Road, just minutes from downtown Greensboro. This Georgia land auction will take place on October 20th at 10:00 a.m. The land will be absolute to the highest and best bidder located under the tent right on the property with no minimums and no reserves.

News Image"The real estate will be sold and offered in divisions, high bidder’s choice, selling to the highest bidder regardless of price," explains Myers Jackson, CAI, AARE, CES, e-PRO and auction coordinator. "This land is selling under a court order."

The real estate currently has agriculture zoning with approximately 221 acres having a great deal of merchantable pine and hardwood timber. The balance of the farm land is currently in pasture. Fronted by over 5300 feet of road frontage in Greene County, the land offers perfect development opportunities for residential waterfront homes with over 4100 feet of shore line on Lake Oconee.

When this parcel of Georgia timber and farmland is placed on the auction block, bidders will be given a choice of the piece of real estate that fits their individual needs. This will allow the opportunity for small tract purchasers as well as large tract buyers to bid on the tracts or multiple tracts of their choosing. The auctioneers reserve the right to offer the timber separate from the land

Jackson says the auction method of marketing was ordered by a superior court judge to market this tract real estate. "In today’s environment auctions have the best chance of producing the highest price with the best contract terms, giving buyers and sellers an advantage in any given marketplace," he says.

"The order was handed down by Greene County Superior Court Judge, Honorable Hulane E. George," says David Hart, CAI, AARE, Executive Vice President and Operations Officer of Rowell Auctions, Inc. "Contracts will be written to the highest bidders."

Event news and details of the auction are available at www.myersjackson.com or www.rowellauctions.com. Contact the auctioneers for any questions on the upcoming event by calling direct toll free at 1-800-323-8388.
