Upgrades to ScottradeELITE® include a new Layout Wizard that allows users to easily create their own layouts within the platform.
St. Louis, MO (Vocus/PRWeb) December 13, 2007 -- Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm, is upgrading its active trader platform, ScottradeELITE®, with new features designed to make the platform easier to use, including a new Layout Wizard that will allow users to easily create their own layouts within the platform.
This upgrade, one of a series of upgrades to the platform in 2007, will be available after the stock market closes on Thursday, Dec. 13. The enhancements will automatically be downloaded when current ScottradeELITE® users log in to their accounts. New ELITE users will enjoy the benefits of the upgrade upon downloading the platform for the first time.
Highlights of the upgrade include:
- Layout Wizard is a step-by-step guide that will walk users through the process of customizing the layout of the trading platform. An unlimited number of layouts and symbol lists may be saved within ScottradeELITE®.
- ScottradeNOTES™ allows users to enter personalized notes next to any symbol in the Quote Grid to help users track events that may impact their watch lists.
- Save Template buttons have been added to the Quote Grid, Chart, Full Quote, Level II, TotalView, Time & Sales, and Option Chain windows, allowing for quick and easy save changes to templates.
- With the new Recent Research drop down list, ScottradeELITE® will remember the last 10 symbols that have been entered, making it easier for users to access the symbols they view most frequently.
Scottrade has upgraded its ELITE platform three to four times per year since its launch in 2004. Past upgrades include the addition of Account Linker, which allows users to view all of their accounts on one screen, and the integration of Trade-Ideas® and NASDAQ TotalView® quotes. Scottrade has several more upgrades planned for 2008.
