Church Lectionary Resources Get "Greener"

"Seasons of the Spirit" is the first to offer three greener formats for delivery of Church Lectionary Resources: "SeasonsPrint", "SeasonsDisk" and "SeasonsOnline".

We've always written respect for creation into the program. 'Seasons' encourages people to live more respectfully on the planet. We are pleased now to be able to extend this care for creation even into the way we produce and deliver 'Seasons.'

Kelowna, BC (Vocus) April 2, 2008 -- "Seasons of the Spirit" is the first resource for Christian education, worship and service to offer three greener formats for delivery: "SeasonsPrint", "SeasonsDisk" and "SeasonsOnline".

These choices enable a church to choose the option that is best suited to its' unique needs. Each option is convenient, cost-effective and eco-friendly. All of these new delivery methods are greener alternatives to the traditional shipping of print resources.

"Seasons" print congregations can rest assured that we use recycled paper, thinner paper stocks, and the most ink coverage per page. Even so, "SeasonsDisk" uses less of the earth's resources. "SeasonsOnline," of course, uses even less. We recognize that not every church is ready for digital delivery and that is why we will continue to be as green as possible in the production of our print church resources while offering greener alternatives.
