Sierra Tucson Awarded JCAHO Accreditation Renewal

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) August 14, 2008 -- Every three years Sierra Tucson is reviewed by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) for the purpose of renewing their accreditation. Sierra Tucson, a premier treatment center and psychiatric hospital, is happy to announce the award of their JCAHO accreditation for another three-year period, confirming their commitment to compassionate care and clinical excellence.

JCAHO was founded in 1951 with the purpose and dedication to continuously improve the safety and quality of healthcare systems in the United States. The survey and accreditation process involves in-depth on-site review of specific systems, procedures, performance, and outcomes to ensure continuous adherence to standards and excellent quality of care.
