Teams from two of the premier conferences, the Big Ten and Big 12, will compete for the title at Sun Devil Stadium. The Insight Bowl match-up will be announced in early December and the game will be televised live to a nationwide audience on the NFL Network.
In addition to the big game, Tempe, Arizona will roll out the red carpet for all of the visiting Insight Bowl fans. There will be spectacular fireworks displays at 10 p.m. and midnight, interactive games, 40 local bands on 11 stages, freestyle motor cross jumpers, beer gardens, the nationally-acclaimed Barenaked Ladies as the headlining musical act on the main stage, and an exciting countdown at midnight.
