CrystalOrb LLC announces its upcoming book, Spontaneous Tourism: The Busy Person's Guide to Travel, which will help new travelers of all ages save time and money.
You can fit a great trip into just a few days

Arlington, VA (PRWeb) February 21, 2007 -- Millions of people who want to travel more but have no idea where to begin will have an easier time this fall with the release of Spontaneous Tourism: The Busy Person's Guide to Travel (http://www.spontaneoustourism.com).

The author, expert traveler James C. Samans -- the Spontaneous Tourist -- travels over 200,000 miles each year. Some of those miles are for business, but more than half aren't, and he fits his trips alongside a full-time job and a duty schedule with the Air Force Reserve.

"Most people assume that travel takes a lot of time or costs a lot of money," says Samans. "Certainly, it can, but you can fit travel into almost any schedule and budget. People miss out on travel because they don't understand their options."

Spontaneous Tourism aims to change that. The book is introduced as "everything you need to know to start seeing the world one weekend at a time," and covers topics ranging from airlines and cruise lines to passports and postcards.

Samans uses the information in his book on a regular basis for his own travels, which include itineraries like forty hours exploring Singapore and a Valentine's Day weekend in Paris. "You can fit a great trip into just a few days," he explains. "Couples can leave the kids with their grandparents overnight and go see Venice or Montreal, have some time to themselves."

"Of course," he observes, "you can always stay longer if you have the time. What this book does is teach you how travel works, so you can plan trips that fit your schedule and budget. And if you do have to come back to work on Monday, you'll have a great story to tell your coworkers."

Spontaneous Tourism: The Busy Person's Guide to Travel is published by CrystalOrb LLC and will be available in bookstores on October 1, 2007. The publisher offers free shipping for preorders placed by September 30, 2007.
