It is our goal at On The Road Travel to connect independent travelers with the local culture and allow them to see the countries they visit through the eyes of locals.
On The Road Travel's guide to Peru provides information and travel recommendations from local experts, designed for independent travelers who have left their backpacker days behind but still want adventure on their own terms. Travelers will find a host of insightful tools allowing them to experience local culture, such as a calendar of events, recommended itineraries, entertainment suggestions, a cultural cheatsheet and informative editorials about current events and cultural issues in Peru.

What to do in Peru?
From listening to Afro-Peruvian music and tasting the best Pisco Sour in Lima to trekking the paths less traveled in the Peruvian Andes, On The Road Travel's Peru guide offers a unique perspective of a country that is rich in culture, history, nature and geography.

"It is our goal at On The Road Travel to connect independent travelers with the local culture and allow them to see the countries they visit through the eyes of locals." says Jen Hamilton, Founder of On The Road Travel. "Peru's travel industry is rapidly changing its focus, catering to a higher-end traveler than it previously accommodated. Our Peru guide expands OTR's footprint in Latin America and opens new doors for culturally-focused travelers. "
