(Vocus) July 24, 2008 -- A video produced for Lowenstein Sandler PC, an American Lawyer top-200 firm, has received the acclaimed Videographer Award of Excellence, 2008. The recruitment video, housed on Lowenstein’s website, is directed toward prospective summer, first year and lateral associates.
“Lowenstein is thrilled to get this award,” Chief Marketing Officer Lee Garfinkle stated. “It affirms both the substance of our recruitment message and the colorful quality of the production, making it appealing to the audience we are attracting.”
The Videographer Award of Excellence is conferred on entrants deemed by the organization’s judges to be written, produced, shot, and edited in an exceptional manner. Only 14% of the entries in 2008 received this designation.
The award-winning video was produced by Voices & Visions Productions, Ltd. a corporate video production firm in NJ/NY and LA. Voices & Visions’ background makes the company an especially good fit to understand the workings of law firms: Producer Ellen Friedland began her career as an attorney clerking in the federal district court in Manhattan. Her experience is integrated with the artistic capabilities of director Curt Fissel, a TV documentary cinematographer and editor for almost 30 years. The Videographer Award of Excellence is the latest in a long string of awards Voices & Visions has received. Over the past two years alone the video production firm has been the recipient of several Tellys (silver and bronze), Summit and Davey Awards.
