Akamix allows users to simultaneously browse search results and extracts relevant information from web pages.

Search engines usually give you many relevant results and it takes time to browse the links and find where is the right information in each page
The Akamix navigation tool allows users to simultaneously browse search results so they can instantly and easily switch from a page to another. In addition, the information relevant to the key words is automatically extracted from each result and displayed, so users can immediately find in pages what they are looking for.

"Search engines usually give you many relevant results and it takes time to browse the links and find where is the right information in each page" said Florent Voignier, founder and CEO of Akamix. "With Akamix, you can take a quick look at each page and automatically get the content relevant to your key words".

In addition, a panel that keeps all the search results allows users to easily organize them: Users can reorder, delete some results, create categories and save the search in a .webx file that can be shared with others.

When users open search results, Akamix makes relevant information more accessible by automatically scrolling web pages to the first occurrence of the key words.

"You can find information that you couldn't find before, simply because you browse more links and can easily read the pertinent information in each page", said Voignier. "Users usually don't click on more than three results because it takes time to go to a web page and read the content. Now they can easily read ten relevant results almost at the same time".

Akamix version 0.1 Beta can be freely downloaded in seconds on akamix.com and runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 2000.
