Camacho cigar company president, Christian Eiroa, makes a trip from Honduras to visit CigarFox.com in Troy, Michigan, on May 8, 2008.

Troy, MI (PRWEB) May 9, 2008 -- Camacho cigar company president, Christian Eiroa, is making a trip from Honduras to visit the CigarFox.com team on Thursday May 8 in Troy, Michigan. Christian is a young figure in a fairly established industry of figureheads. Being youg does not mean that he is new to the business. His family defected from Cuba years ago to the fertile lands of Honduras. When they left the country, Christian's father was able to smuggle a large quantity of Cuban tobacco seed. These seeds that were brought to Honduras are the most legitimate Cuban Corojo seeds in the industry today. According to Christian, there are still a large number of the seeds that are in good shape and at his disposal.

To get to know someone you truly have to visit their home. To find the home of the Eiroa's, you must purchase a ticket to Tecuchicalpa, Honduras. Departing from Miami, this is about a three hour plane flight over the Gulf of Mexico. To land in Honduras you have to be quite an accurate pilot. The airport being positioned in a valley, pilots must go from high altitudes to landing very quickly. Christian knows this route well and is an experienced pilot.

Upon arrival to one of the cigar Mecca's of the world, you are still a long truck ride from "Camp Corojo", the family's estate. The estate is located along the Panamanian Highway, the only formal road that runs through several Central American countries. The estate is about 50 miles north of the Nicaraguan border. As you rise into the mountains and then down into the valleys you are overwhelmed by the poverty that is seen. Most people don't appear to have jobs at all. They live off the land and their natural surroundings. The country is very warm and valleys are very lush and fertile.

Running water and electricity are spotty along this journey but the beautiful nature is not. Lush rivers flow from the mountain into the valleys which make the ground fertile and perfect for growing tobacco. The climate is very tropical. It seems to rain almost every day there for a short period of time. Getting the chance to tour such a facility is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Learning the business from the inside tends to shed a greater appreciation for every cigar that you light up. So come meet Christian this week at the Cigar Fox Outlet in Troy, MI. This young man is sure to entertain anyone who takes the time to listen to the amazing story of the Eiroa family and their rise to the top of the premium tobacco industry.
