RICHARDSON, Texas (Business Wire EON) December 4, 2008 -- Credit Solutions ranks 12th in this year’s Dallas 100 Awards given to the fastest growing, privately held companies in North Texas by the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship.

Credit Solutions has been working hard to maintain debt settlement as a viable alternative for families facing financial hardship at a time when U.S. consumer bankruptcies are again on the rise.
Now in their 18th year, the Dallas 100 rankings were announced at a Nov. 20 Morton Meyerson Symphony Center awards dinner, when all 100 companies were honored in ranked order.

News Image “Being recognized by one of the nation’s top business schools is a magnificent honor,” said Credit Solutions CEO Doug Van Arsdale. “Credit Solutions has been working hard to maintain debt settlement as a viable alternative for families facing financial hardship at a time when U.S. consumer bankruptcies are again on the rise.”

Earlier this year, Credit Solutions was a finalist for fastest-growing company in the international Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. The company earned a 2008 Stevie from the American Business Awards for “Best Customer Service Department in Financial Services,” as well as a top 3% ranking on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies driving the U.S. economy.

About the Dallas 100

The Dallas 100 was co-founded in 1990 by the SMU Cox School of Business (named for Dallas oilman, major benefactor and former Chairman of the Board Edwin L. Cox) and the SMU Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship as an annual tribute to the vitality and entrepreneurship of the emerging business community in North Texas. The top 100 companies are chosen on the basis of increased percentage growth and absolute dollar growth.
