DateHookup.com now offers advertisers the ability to target its ad inventory by specific demographics, including age range and gender.
This is the biggest thing to happen in online advertising since Google released AdSense

February 19, 2008 -- DateHookup.com, a top 10 US dating site, has started allowing advertisers to target its inventory by specific demographics, thanks to Google's new demographic bidding feature. Now advertisers can accurately target by age range and gender, dramatically increasing the effectiveness of their ad campaigns.

"This is the biggest thing to happen in online advertising since Google released AdSense", says Dustin Weirich, founder and owner of DateHookup.com. "No more using the shotgun approach when advertising on my site. If advertisers started targeting my inventory by age and gender I guarantee they would at least double or triple their response rate overnight."

Google's demographic targeting feature recently entered beta testing. To be a part of the test an advertiser should ask their account manager to get them in. More information can be found here.

DateHookup.com is a top 10 dating site in US traffic according to Hitwise. It has millions of impressions every day that are available to all advertisers, including other dating sites. DateHookup.com partners with Google to sell its ad space.
