Gallup teams up with TEC to add IT assessment to its comprehensive business transformation assurance services, and to drive growth for public and private sector clients.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 14, 2006 -- The Gallup Organization (www.gallup.com) and Technology Evaluation Centers Inc. (www.TechnologyEvaluation.com/press) have joined forces in a strategic alliance. The mission: to complement Gallup’s Transformation Success Assurance services with TEC’s experience and methodologies in IT evaluation, analysis, and decision support.

Although Gallup is mostly known for its polling and survey expertise, the majority of its business is generated from consulting services for government and industry. The alliance with TEC adds an IT evaluation component to Gallup’s management consulting businesses. The two companies have a very similar fundamental philosophy: independence. Gallup’s objectivity in consulting and TEC’s unbiased approach to IT evaluation are the perfect complement.

The alliance helps extend our brand, by aligning our capabilities with the transformation demands of businesses today.
TEC is a global and impartial player in the enterprise software evaluation and selection market. Its easy-to-use online tools integrate business process modeling, content management, and decision support capabilities on its proprietary information management platform. Gallup’s full life cycle consulting approach extends TEC’s capabilities from the building of solutions, through launch, and into steady state continuous improvement.

“Our alliance with TEC provides Gallup with a comprehensive IT selection capability, broadening our transformation success assurance program by leveraging all of TEC’s accumulated expertise,” says Carl Sara, Partner, The Gallup Organization. Gallup (www.gallup.com) differentiates its services by focusing on the organic growth of an organization through a proven body of behavioral science. “Our research shows that most transformations are challenged not only by programmatic or technical factors, but by human capital elements,” says Sara. “The alliance helps extend our brand, by aligning our capabilities with the transformation demands of businesses today.” TEC and Gallup are marrying our capabilities to bring new approaches to the uncertain world of IT transformation.

“There’s a lot at stake, when making enterprise software decisions,” says Barry Melsom, TEC’s Vice President of Global Marketing, “Collectively, organizations lose billions of dollars each year due to misperceptions or insufficient information and data about the selection and implementation processes.” TEC (www.TechnologyEvaluation.com/press) has a wealth of customer feedback. “This strategic alliance with Gallup,” Melsom continued, “will allow us to expand the type of valuable market feedback we can make available to our respective clients.”
