Binky Mack released the first single off the EP 'Held Hostage'; 'The Reporter', to fans January 19th. Now the hip hop 'hood legend' releases the 'official' street single 'The Reporter Remix' featuring hip hop artist Don Doe as the first radio release from the EP. It is being serviced to radio now.
Both singles are available for free download now and the full EP, 'Held Hostage', will be available for free download on March 27th at ThugLifeArmy.com and ThugLifeArmyRecords.com thru this excellent opportunity from the hip hop giant Binky Mack.
Although the EP will be available for free download, starting March 27th until May 1st when the 'hard' copy CD and LP will be available in stores. Exclusive to the CD and LP will be the instrumental versions of all the tracks.
The 'Held Hostage' EP has two featured artists on two different tracks. The track 'America' features Binky Mack's fellow member of allfrumtha I; well know west coast rap artist Squeak Ru.
The track 'The Reporter - Remix' features another well known west coast rap artist Don Doe.
This latest project from Binky Mack is a solo EP, which makes this release unique. 'Held Hostage' is the first solo release by Binky Mack in his illustrious career.
Binky Mack is well known in the hip hop community for his work with hip hop and rap icons the Westside Connection. He has also produced for Ice Cube, Mack 10, W.C. individually. Binky Mack has also worked with hip hop and rap notables and legends such as Snoop Dogg, Scareface, Redman, Krazy Bone, C Murder, MC Eiht, U-God (from the Wu Tang Clan), Ras Kass, Boo Kapone, Road Dawgs, The Comrads, CJ Mac, Bad Azz and the list of hip hop and rap artists could fill this page.
