LCD and Plasma TV specialist online shop Laskys has today become one of the first retailers in the UK to stock the new range of Apple iPods. Though usually associated with TVs, DVD players and home cinema systems, Laskys has recently doubled its product offering to include new items such as laptops, printers and GPS units.

Though usually associated with TVs, DVD players and home cinema systems, Laskys has recently doubled its product offering to include new items such as laptops, printers and GPS units.
The new iPods include the new, larger capacity iPod Shuffle, now being able to hold 1GB of files, equating to about 240 songs. There are now new colours to pick from too, including the original silver, giving customers a choice of 5 in total. A step up from the Shuffle, the iPod Nano provides video playback along with the music and comes in 4GB and 8GB models. The enhanced interface allows for album covers to be displayed on its new, brighter screen and customers and watch up to 5 hours of video. Both the iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano are flash memory players.
The iPod Classic goes back to the original iPod roots, and now comes in 80GB and 160GB hard disk models, allowing you to hold your entire music and video collection in one unit. The iPod Classic can also play music continuously for 30 hours and now has the same interface as the iPod Nano. Apple are looking to set another new standard in portable entertainment with their now iPod Touch, a music and video player with an innovative touch screen navigation menu system. Choose from 8GB or 16GB flash drive versions, and be amazed by the 3.5inch widescreen display. The iPod Touch can also connect to wireless Internet access points to allow users to download their favourite songs from iTunes.
