Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) February 7, 2008 -- The Spa at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was a hit with NASCAR's biggest stars and their families last year. This year, a lucky race fan will get a chance to experience one of the speedway's true treasures.

All fans who have purchased a weekend Neon Garage pass before Feb. 15 will be entered into a drawing to receive a free, full-service spa treatment during the Feb. 29-March 2 NASCAR Weekend.

"Thousands of Neon Garage guests walk by the outside of the Spa each day of race weekend, and we want to give one of them a chance to enjoy what's inside," said Chris Powell, LVMS general manager. "The drivers and team owners - and especially their wives - gave glowing reviews of the Spa last year, and we want a lucky fan to share in the experience."

Last year, many drivers used the Spa for therapy while some of their family members took advantage of the many other services.

"I know that I'm not alone in saying how valuable the massages were," said driver Carl Edwards. "For the guys who drove in the (Sam's Town 300) on Saturday, and then had to run the Cup race on Sunday, it was a welcome addition. And there's a first-class staff in there. The whole place is incredible."

The Spa offers a full menu with various levels of massages, facials, pedicures, manicures, body wraps and designer haircuts. The Spa's beds are outfitted with 750-thread count sheets and cashmere blankets. Each room is equipped with a Swiss shower, which has water raining from above and three-way jets on the sides.

"Our goal when we designed this spa was to create a facility comparable to what you would find in any resort property in Las Vegas," said Deirdre Strunk, director of spa operations for the Costa del Sur Spa at South Point and supervisor of the Spa at LVMS. "We know that many of these drivers, owners and families use the speedway as their hotel for the weekend. We like to think we are bringing one of Las Vegas' most popular attractions to the speedway."

Tickets and Neon Garage passes for the NASCAR Weekend are available by calling the speedway's Ticket Service office at 1-800-644-4444 or by logging on to www.lvms.com. The deadline for the drawing and weekend Neon Garage passes is Feb. 15.
