Party Poker for Mac

After 10 years of waiting Party Poker for Mac users is now possible with the new “no download” beta release by Party Poker. CompatiblePoker.com is proud to partner with Party Poker to get the word out.

(PRWEB) July 21, 2006 -- CompatiblePoker.com has found out that Party Poker on a Mac can finally be played with the release of the first Java beta by Party Poker. The review and beta link can be found at www.compatiblepoker.com/Party+Poker.rev.htm

The largest distributor and news site about Mac poker rooms says they are proud to finally be able to tell their customers that Party Poker can now be used on the Mac for free.

Previously Mac poker players had to use Virtual PC, Dual Boot, run Parallels and all sorts of wacky expensive stuff to try and play Party Poker on a Mac.

The beta will work in different browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer just to name a few. Linux poker players can also enjoy Party Poker as the Java.

Currently, only play money games are accessible on the beta software. Party Poker seems to be working on minor quirks and problems with the beta before going live with real money games.

Players may also notice that the Mac compatible beta is not always linked to the homepage of PartyPoker.com but the beta download link can be found here. (www.compatiblepoker.com/Party+Poker.rev.htm)

Features not yet found on Party Poker’s beta are table filters, buddy listings, histories of hands, poker training, multi-table resizing, private tables, and table searching capabilities. Party Poker may add these once the Java software officially goes out of beta testing.

The owner of CompatiblePoker.com says more big poker sites on the Mac are on their way. As of late, two major poker rooms have contacted them about what Mac users want in the Mac compatible software. The names of these sites are being kept confidential until the release dates.

Party poker for Mac will prove to be a large step in furthering Mac poker player options when stepping into the virtual world of internet poker. Political battles may squash Mac users from playing at Party Poker for much longer in the USA but for now they are taking advantage of Party Poker on a Mac.
