The model is also proving successful for our product partners. By giving our users what they want, we are increasing our booking conversions.
Launched in conjunction with Tourism Board Malaysia, Malaysia Travel Market will offer the users in the UK the opportunity to search and compare prices for flights and accommodation to car hire and tours in Malaysia. Consumers then click through to book direct on the travel companies or tour operators own websites.

The new platform has been developed to allow all elements of the distribution network to promote their product in Malaysia directly to the consumer in the UK, from airlines and accommodation providers to tour operators.

Tourism Malaysia will actively promote this platform in through both online and off line marketing activity to assist in driving bookings and increasing conversion for travel to Malaysia.

Global Travel Market's CEO, Dave Simmons said: The strength of our system remains in the fact that sites are destination specific. This means someone wanting to holiday in Malaysia will only see product relevant to their search so eliminating the problem of overloading people with irrelevant information, which is not only time consuming but also increasingly frustrating for web users.'
