(PRWEB) May 21, 2007 -- After recently installing a new visitor tracking system, it was discovered that a large percentage of the visitors to PlayedOnline.com are students, playing games from their school's network.
In most cases, a visitor's network reveals very little of their identity, as it registers as "America Online" or "Comcast Cable," but when a visitor to a web site comes from a private network such as that of a school - they are identified much more specifically.

Before the new tracking system was installed, it was observed that most visitors visit the site between 7am and 11am PST, but it was assumed that these were adults playing from work or from home. It turns out that almost 25% of the site's players surf from school and college networks.
