Are you concerned about the chemicals your body is exposed to daily? Reduce your exposure to these harmful chemicals with this new line of natural skin care, bath and personal care products.

Fox Lake, IL (PRWEB) August 7, 2006 -- It is conservatively estimated that we are exposed to over 200 chemicals before we even leave the bathroom in the morning, which can be attributed to the largely unregulated cosmetics industry. Fortunately, more and more consumers are becoming aware of the potential harm brought on by the use of chemicals in all types of personal care products. In addition, smaller companies like The Pampered Panda are emerging on a regular basis.

For the past several months, the staff at The Pampered Panda has been researching and developing a line of safe, natural alternatives to chemical-laden commercial products. Through a synergistic mix of house-modified outsourced bases and in-house formulas, The Pampered Panda is pleased to announce the launch of its new natural skin care bath and body line.

Keeping in mind that the skin is the largest human organ, opportunities abound for the introduction of chemicals into our systems though absorption. For example, propylene glycol is a very common ingredient found in almost every commercially available cosmetic product. It is also used in the manufacture of antifreeze and deicers and, although generally recognized as safe by the FDA and it metabolizes into lactic acid, we would be well advised not to put it on our skin and hence into our bodies.

While The Pampered Panda offers a select line of all natural lotions, bath and body products in its natural skin care line, trace amounts (typically 0.025% - 0.15%) of synthetic preservatives (para-hydroxybenzoic acids) are used in many of the water-based formulas to ensure a safe, bacteria- and fungi-free product. The same preservatives are commonly added at 5% or higher in commercial products. The staff continues to research and develop natural methods for self-preserving formulas.

For more information about this new line of natural skin care lotions, shampoos and bath and body products, please contact The Pampered Panda via the web, or call (877) 478-2263 from the US or (847) 546-2904 internationally. The Pampered Panda also has an Affiliate Program, and is located in Fox Lake in Northeastern Illinois and ships anywhere in the United States.
