The 2007 Annual Wedding Photography Directory Public Creative Summer Wedding Photo Contest is open to WPD members and outside professional wedding photographers alike. The winners will be determined by WPD members and public voters. Beyond the bragging rights, the $1,000 grand prize could be yours!
Boston, MA (PRWEB) May 1, 2007 -- The 2007 WPD Public Creative Summer Wedding Photo Contest is open to WPD photojournalists and outside professional wedding photographers alike. The winners of this unique professional photography contest will be determined by Wedding Photography Directory (WPD) photographer members and public voters.
"Our First Annual WPD Wedding Photography Contest (2006) was a great success! We had received over 1,200 wedding photo entries from WPD members and outside wedding photographers. Over 50,000 votes were analyzed to conclude the results for the final winning photography selection. In addition to public votes, we are introducing public critqiues to this year's summer contest. Many photographers, consumers, and students all have expressed wishes to include this feature. We look forward to host this exciting summer contest to present what the best the wedding photography community has to offer," said Aaron Shi, WPD Directory Manager.
Wedding Photo Contest Awards:
First Place: $1,000 Grand Prize - The grand prize winner will be rewarded $1,000 in cash.

7/15/2007 - Contest submission closes for both WPD members and the public.
7/16/2007 to 7/31/2007 - Initial WPD qualification selection.
8/1/2007 to 10/1/2007 - Wedding photos open for public viewing and voting.
10/15/2007 - Public voting data is analyzed, and winners are announced.
