including new web-based printing tools, new color printers and
multifunction printers (MFPs) optimised for producing
professional-quality marketing materials, business collaterals and
everyday documents quickly and affordably in-house.
Today’s announcement is HP’s
broadest-ever commercial range of printing solutions designed to help
small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) improve their marketing
effectiveness, boost business productivity and better-manage their
printing environments.

According to IT research firm IDC, HP is the leading provider of both
inkjet and laser hardcopy peripherals (printers + MFPs) shipped to SMBs*
in the Asia Pacific (excl. Japan) region, with a 45%^
market share and strong double digit year-on-year growth of 16% in 4Q
2007. HP has held this No. 1 leadership position for the past 20
consecutive quarters(1). HP also continued to
increase its lead in the high growth SMB* laser printer + laser
All-in-One (AiO) segment in Asia Pacific (excl. Japan) in Q4 2007 with a
strong 46% market share and 24% year-on-year growth(2).
The SMB printing space (including hardware, supplies and services)
presents a tremendous opportunity for HP’s
Imaging and Printing Group valued at US$103 billion globally by 2010.
