IRVINE, Calif. (Business Wire EON) November 14, 2007 -- This week 1105 Media's Redmond Media Group unveiled the next-generation Web site for its recently acquired print property, Visual Studio Magazine, at http://visualstudiomagazine.com. The site offers developers working with Visual Studio, SQL Server, .NET and other development technologies hundreds of how-to articles and code downloads all for free and without registration.

Visual Studio Magazine has a long and respected history in the market, and we're excited to take the brand to its full potential on the Web.
The completely revamped site, originally part of FTPonline.com, contains content from Visual Studio Magazine and offers daily news, exclusive online columns, expert blogs, RSS feeds, improved navigation, plenty of ways for the community to interact, and much, much more.

"We've created an independent, interactive Web site that not only serves the needs of Visual Studio Magazine readers but also the larger online developer community," commented Doug Barney, vice president of editorial for the 1105 Redmond Media Group.

"We're proud to be able to give Visual Studio Magazine the online home it deserves," said Henry Allain, president of the 1105 Redmond Media Group. "Visual Studio Magazine has a long and respected history in the market, and we're excited to take the brand to its full potential on the Web."

1105 Media acquired Visual Studio Magazine, the Web site and conferences like VSLive! when it purchased the assets from the former owner, Fawcette Technical Publications, in December 2006.

Visual Studio Magazine and the new Web site are part of the Redmond Developer Network the single largest media driven audience of development professionals. The network also includes the print and online versions of Redmond Developer News (http://reddevnews.com), Application Development Trends (http://adtmag.com), nine high-circulation E-mail newsletters and Redmond Media Group Events (http://redmondevents.com).
