Referral recruitment website JobTonic.com hits the 1,000 jobs mark.

Edinburgh (PRWEB)July 4, 2007 -- Jobtonic has smashed the 1,000 job vacancies barrier, establishing itself as the leading UK referral recruitment. Visitors successfully referring positions to friends will be rewarded with up to £2000 as a thank you for finding the right candidate within their social network.

Hitting the 1,000 vacancy mark shows that recruiters are voting with their feet when it comes to advertising their vacancies. Our unique model targets the passive candidate; the respected employee who doesn't necessarily know what opportunities are out there.
This news comes on the back of the addition of jobs in six new employment sectors last week (Online Marketing, Property, HR, Publishing, Media and Recruitment). With a total of over £365,000 in rewards up for grabs, there has never been a better time to visit the site and see what vacancies match the people in your on and offline social networks.

All of Jobtonic's 1,000+ job vacancies are within the UK giving the site's existing referrers plenty of chances to find a job in their own back yard. Jobtonic now lists over five times more current vacancies than its UK competitor in the referral recruitment market. All Jobtonic vacancies are less than 60 days old.

Commenting on the breakthrough, Nick Goldstein, GM of Jobtonic commented "Hitting the 1,000 vacancy mark shows that recruiters are voting with their feet when it comes to advertising their vacancies. Our unique model targets the passive candidate; the respected employee who doesn't necessarily know what opportunities are out there."

Interviews with key figures at Jobtonic are available upon request. The Jobtonic web site can be found at http://www.jobtonc.com. Find jobs using the job search box provided on the front page.
