E-Scrap Technologies, one of the Midwest's leading providers of electronics removal and technology consulting services, is pleased to announce its recent investment in a state-of-the-art hard drive shredder. The equipment is a welcome addition to its established recycling and destruction methods.

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (BusinessWire EON) March 19, 2007 -- E-Scrap Technologies, one of the Midwests leading providers of electronics removal and technology consulting services, is pleased to announce its recent investment in a state-of-the-art hard drive shredder. The equipment is a welcome addition to its established recycling and destruction methods.

Here, every client deals with an individual within our management team who oversees their project from start to finish. It is very important to us that every effort be made to maximize the client's computer and electronics investment and, when it's time, destroy the materials in a way that is environmentally responsible.
The company already offers guaranteed, secure removal of data from all viable computers but this new industrial-grade shredder will allow it to reach a new audience of organizations requiring an additional level of security when disposing of electronic materials.

Operations Manager Nathan Armstrong explains, We have always offered our clients privacy and discretion when destroying and/or recycling their more secure storage devices. This machine allows us to offer an added level of satisfaction our clients can be sure this machine has effectively done its job and theyll also get a guarantee that their device has been destroyed and disposed of properly.

He adds, Here, every client deals with an individual within our management team who oversees their project from start to finish. It is very important to us that every effort be made to maximize the clients computer and electronics investment and, when its time, destroy the materials in a way that is environmentally responsible.

After being destroyed, the shredded devices are scrapped for appropriate recycling of the metal and plastic components.

The shredder provides the energy efficient destruction of a variety of hard drive media including:

- IBM Data Tapes - Zip Disks
- CD's and DVD's - IBM VXA-2 SCSI Tape Hard Drives
- DAT 72 Tapes - Non Hot-Plug SATA Hard Drives
