Search-To-Phone, a participant in last year's Boulder-based TechStars program for technology start-ups, today announced it has received a strategic investment from Gold Systems, Inc., also located in Boulder.

Search-To-Phone is a free service designed to help consumers search for local products and services with one call. Rather than use the Yellow Pages and make dozens of calls to find a local product or service, Search-To-Phone records a consumer’s search request then notifies every matching local business by phone. In as little as 60 seconds the caller is connected to merchants who are ready to help without repeating their request or making multiple calls.

The two companies began a strategic partnership in August, 2007, but today’s investment deal will allow Search-To-Phone to collaborate more closely with the sales and technical teams at Gold Systems, a developer of voice-powered software applications for Global 1000 companies.
