Award-Winning Competition Website goes Free; Guess The Secret Sound

The much-hyped Secret Sound Website, MySecretSound.com has today announced that it's services will be totally free and any member of the general public can win up to $10,000 by guessing a Mystery Secret Sound.
The idea with MySecretSound.com, is anyone can listen to the mystery sound as often as often as they like - a distinct benefit! They can guess whenever they want, but we liked the idea of being able to listen before you guess.

Sydney, NSW (PRWeb) March 30, 2007 -- The award-winning website, MySecretSound has today added a rather large feather to its already impressive cap by announcing that its services will now be totally free to anyone in the world.

This is a distinct move to continue to push MySecretSound.com into the top 500 websites in the world and this latest strategy can only underline the unique website's lofty ambitions. Previously, Contestants had to pay a fee of $10 which would allow them five guesses at the secret sound. MySecretSound founder, Chris Dutton, now explains the clever thinking behind this marketing move.

"We want everyone to be able to participate in one of the most addictive competitions online at the moment. The previous figure of $10 for five guesses wasn't exactly a lot of money, but when users were spending $40 or $50 trying to win the jackpot sound, we figured that by allowing it to be totally free, many more people could try and win the money - thereby increasing its popularity."

The website, MySecretSound, has already given away two prizes totaling $10,000 in cash in recent months, and the move to become a free website will no doubt mean the owners will be writing out more winners' cheques in the near future.

Chris continued with his comments and explained how addictive the site can become: "We get lots of people emailing us saying that they keep listening to the secret sound at home and it gets rather annoying as they can't quite put their finger on what it is. People really like the idea, but it does become rather addictive!"

Anyone can listen to the secret sound as often as they wish, and when they guess, their answer is judged by the panel at MySecretSound.com.

"We were using the idea of secret sounds on the radio, and we found that the annoying thing with the radio competitions was that you only get a short period of time to listen to the sound - it's basically when the DJ choses to play it," added Chris. "The idea with MySecretSound.com, is anyone can listen to the mystery sound as often as often as they like - a distinct benefit! They can guess whenever they want, but we liked the idea of being able to listen before you guess."

The website continues to go from strength to strength and we expect big things for the award-winning website. Unfortunately Chris was in no mood to offer clues to the current secret sound, which can be found on the website.

www.MySecretSound.com was launched in July 2006 and its popularity continues to grow on a day-by-day basis. Why not having a listen to the secret sound now?

Good luck!
